Join Us for a Three-Day Live Online Workshop on Sports Psychology

The Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI), in association with the Institute For Sports And Fitness Development (ISFD), invites you to register for our upcoming workshop and certificate course titled “Understand Champion’s Mindset: Psychology of Sports.”

This workshop is organized by PEFI, a National Sports Promotion Organization, in collaboration with ISFD, an accredited training provider for the International Association of Therapists (IAOTH).

This workshop aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of sports psychology and practical techniques to enhance mental performance. The curriculum is designed to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills essential for athletes, coaches, sports psychologists, and anyone interested in the mental aspects of sports.

Day 1: Foundations of Sports Psychology

  • Historical Development & Key Milestones
• Basic Psychological Concepts
  • Motivation, Goal Setting, Confidence & Mental Toughness
  • Definition and components
  • Techniques to build mental toughness

Day 2: Psychological Skills Training

• Visualization and Imagery
  • Practical exercises
• Self-talk and Cognitive Restructuring
  • Positive vs. negative self-talk
  • Techniques to manage and change self-talk
• Focus and Concentration
  • Strategies to enhance focus

Day 3: Applying Sports Psychology in Practice

• Stress Management and Relaxation Techniques
  • Deep breathing exercises
  • Progressive muscle relaxation
  • Mindfulness and meditation
• Role-playing Scenarios
  • Practical applications for self-talk and focus
