AWARD OVERVIEW:
PEFI organizes National Awards for excellence in Physical Education, Coaching and Research honors to Indian Teachers whose services have been noteworthy and have performed outstandingly in their respective specialization throughout the year. Today when the entire country is buzzing with positive news from all areas of sports, it is the right time to honor recognize these dedicated individuals & institutions. PEFI conceptualized the annual award in the year 2016 and has successfully executed Four National Awards till now. Team at PEFI is now completely geared up for the 5th Edition of PEFI awards which will be held in Delhi in the month of December.

AWARD CATEGORIES:
Each Award has been dedicated to a person of eminence in the field of Physical Education and Sports. The award is presented on the Name of the respective personality as per the award category.

1. DR. P.M. JOSEPH (AWARD)

3. DR. AJMER SINGH (AWARD) 

•           Life Time Achievement Award in Coaching (Only Olympic Sport)                                       – 02

GUIDELINES FOR THE NOMINATION:

• There will be no Fees for Applying for the Award.
• Download the Application Form and send it through speed post before 30th November 2021.
• You can apply in only one category of the Award according to your ability.
• You cannot Challenge the Decision of the Award Committee. It would be treated as the Final Decision of the Jury.
• Shortlisted Candidate/Institute/Organization need to submit their relevant documents mentioned in the application form when demanded by the selection committee. It can be re-demanded even after getting the Award, result of not presenting treated as cancellation or suspension of Award.
• No posthumous award may be given, except for a person who expires within the current year.
• Members of PEFI can also apply for the Award.
• All Selected Awardees have to submit an amount of Rs. 1,950/- as Processing Fees to “Physical Education Foundation of India”.
• The recipient can receive an award only in the applied category.

WHO MAY NOMINATE?

Anyone may nominate an individual or an institution for this award. This includes physical Education Teachers, Coaches, Yoga Experts, Physical education association members, colleagues, parents, students, or any individual wishing to highlight and acknowledge any physical education professionals/coaches/yoga teachers/research scholars and Institutions for their exceptional services.
