PEFI launched The National Conference on Physical Education and Sports Science, and PEFI National Awards, six years ago with a vision of creating platforms for knowledge sharing and to honor the achievements of Physical Education and Sports Professionals in India. Within seven years of inception, these events have set new benchmarks for the segment and are getting bigger and better with every edition. Now in 2022 PEFI presents The 6th National Conference on Physical Education and Sports Science, to be held concurrently with The 5th PEFI National Awards, In association with The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.

Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) has been working for the upliftment of physical education and sports in India for over a decade now. It is now the largest association of physical education and sports professionals in India. The organization was envisioned in order to work towards developing a thriving sports culture in the country and to improve the delivery and functionality of physical education in the academic system of India.

PEFI has been also recognized as a National Sports Promotion Organisation for its commendable work in the field of Physical Education and Sports by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

PEFI organizes many events throughout the year including national-level PEFI games, seminars, workshops, courses etc. All these events are directed towards realizing PEFI’s organizational objectives. PEFI has always put special emphasis on the importance of research and development in the field of physical education and sports science. With the vision of bringing together the best minds in the country on a single platform, PEFI launched Annual Conference on Physical Education and Sports Science seven years ago. It is a matter of pride for the whole fraternity that this conference has become a pinnacle of success in its segment and become a most sought-after event for this segment. The event is coming back in 2022, promising to be better and grander than its previous additions.

The event is scheduled to be held from 11th – 12th of March 2022 at The NDMC convention center New Delhi, concurrently with The 5th PEFI National Awards. The conference is supported by The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.

This is the 6th edition of this conference and the conference theme is “Global Community Engagement For Physical Educators To Reshaping The Sports & Physical Education”. The Event has been envisioned to bring the country’s top educators and physical education researchers on a single platform. The event aims to encourage research scholars working in the field of physical education, sports sciences and allied subject areas. The conference will consist of various workshops and paper presentation sessions throughout three days and promises to be a groundbreaking event for the physical education and sports fraternity. This has become a premier event for the fraternity and acts as a source of sharing of ideas, knowledge transfer and innovation in the field of physical education, modern sports, fitness, wellness, health management, sports management etc.
