Gujarat: The 30 days virtual National level UGC-NET/JRF coaching organized by the Gujarat Chapter of Physical Education Foundation of India (PEFI) in the field of Physical Education was inaugurated by Dr. Arjunsinh Rana, Vice-Chancellor, SwarnimGujarat Sports University, Gujarat. the Chief Guest along with Dr. Lakshmikant Rathod, Vice-Chancellor, Palamuru University, Telangana as the Guest of Honor. The programme was held on June 03 morning through Facebook Live.
The programme was presided over by Dr. A. K. Uppal, former Dean- LNIPE- Gwalior, and in the presence of Dr. Piyush Jain, National Secretary (Physical Education Foundation of India), and the guide for the event, Dr. Anil Karwande, founder NET/JRF Gurukul. Dr. A. K. Uppal explained about the vision and mission of PEFI Chapter and urged everyone to do whatever is required for the development and promotion of physical education in the country. In the presence of the august gathering, the Guests welcome was done by Dr. Gopal Joshi, Secretary PEFI-Gujarat Chapter. Quoting the words of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Piyush Jain delivered the introductory remark.
The Chief Guest for the event, Dr. Arjunsinh Rana inspired the students and faculty alike with an insightful speech reflecting on his experiences and motivating factors, which spurred him on to choose a career in the field of Physical Education. He urged students to take every failure as a stepping stone to success.
Dr. Lakshmikant Rathore advised students to pursue a career in the field of physical education with hard work and determination. The programme concluded with the proposal of the vote of thanks by Dr. Akash Gohil, State Representative, PEFI-Gujarat.
“We are dedicated for the constant increase in knowledge and thus creating success stories in the field of Physical Education through NET/JRF coaching” stated Dr. Anil Karwande, Founder of NET/JRF Gurukul who has been in the coaching schemes since 1993. In this 30 day virtual learning, Dr. Karwande will be accompanied by Sangeeta Khare madam, NET coordinator for NET/JRF Gurukul. She also elaborated the basic instructions which are to be followed by the students during this virtual coaching. The whole event was moderated by Dr. Amrita Pande, Assistant Professor, RTM Nagpur University.
Physical Education Foundation of India which also happens to be the National Sports Promotion organization is recognized by Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. This NGO has committed itself to spread the light of knowledge and wisdom to create physical educationists and provide constant upliftment and development of sports and physical education at grass root level since 2008.
